Why? Um… director John Cameron Mitchell got his last woman lead into the best-actress lineup?

Why not? But can we really compare Rabbit Hole (2010) and How to Talk to Girls at Parties? The former was a perfect fit for awards season, while the plot of the former sounds like it’s a little… much for Oscar voters. At best, this may help her get a nomination for another performance – like The Neon Demon or, if it’s released in time, 20th Century Women.

Ranking: No. 22 as of Mar. 27, 2016
