About the Film

Role: Roseanne McNulty, a woman who accounts for her extended stay at a mental hospital; Vanessa Redgrave plays the character in her later years

U.S. Distributor: Relativity Media
U.S. Release Date: TBD
Festivals: N/A

Why? Director Jim Sheridan’s films seem to at least get Golden Globe nominations, if not Oscar bids. If nothing else, the mental-hospital setting should provide Mara ample opportunity to chew the scenery. She has a supporting part in Lion, which looks like Weinstein’s Oscar biggie of the season.

Why not? The whole Relativity kerfuffle hurts. Do we even know what exactly is happening with The Secret Scripture?
