About the Film

Role: Roseanne McNulty, a woman who accounts for her extended stay at a mental hospital; Rooney Mara plays the character in her earlier years

U.S. Distributor: Relativity Media
U.S. Release Date: TBD
Festivals: N/A

Why? The motion-picture academy overlooked Redgrave’s turns in best picture nominee Atonement (2007) and Coriolanus (2011); it might be time to recognize her again. Director Jim Sheridan’s films seem to make their way to at least Golden Globe nominations, more often than not. Taking place in a mental hospital should provide the opportunity for scenery chewing, if not something more special.

Why not? Will Scripture slip under the radar?
